Benrahma is a better player than Fornals. I can’t stand the cunt, it drives me insane the weird cult following he seems to have.

Well Griff, I had Coufal down as a 2/10, so he just about stayed out of the conversation for worst performer.

Burnsy, have a read down at some of the comments on this thread. Some funny shit.

Being very generous not including Coufal there, jibbers

To have been in the same side as Soucek today, and still be the worst player on the pitch, takes some doing.

He was so appalling bad today, I would have to think Moyes is looking to sabotage his own job if he starts him in the next game.

Both him and Soucek produced two of the worst performances I've ever seen in the shirt. That was Roberto levels.

Benrahma is always the fall guy yet he is currently playing better than both Fornals and bowen.

Re: Pablo Fornals - signed
Absolutely obvious Cornet would've been better suited to the lwb/lw role today. Was said that Fornals offers more defensively, but people seem to forget that having the ability to take the ball down the line into the final third, keep it and create chances for your attacker is a form of good defense. Not having to defend is near perfect defense, in fact.

68% pass completion rate today.

Must have been all those defence splitting passes he attempted again.

Re: Pablo Fornals - signed
For me, Fornals is one of those players that run themselves close to exhaustion all game. This makes him a manager’s favourite.

Unfortunately trying to pass, tackle, anticipate, see patterns etc while on the point of exhaustion causes him to make frequent mistakes. Hence the variety of ratings from fans.

I love Pablo, I just wish he wouldn't give the ball away so much and I'm not talking about those through balls, I'm talking about basic to feet passes to keep possession.

When on song he can be brilliant but too often he's just frustrating.

Love the bloke. Has his limitations, pace and tackling and the odd poor pass thrown in come to mind.
But ...
Application; attitude; effort, heart, commitment all first class with the odd goal and brilliant pass.
Is he Messi? No.
Does he do his utmost for us to be the best he possibly can?
Abso-fucking-lutely.
Top man and glad to have him around.

No idea Eerie, make it to 1-2 games a season.
Last was Sevilla down in Sevilla. Fornals played well, I remember him well. Those whily Sevillan midfielders cut our most of his passes though. I could see what Fornals was trying to do, but they were a bit too good for us that night.

The thing i don’t get we all want players to play their heart out and give 110 percent fornals does this double over , his prime to the odd madness but his energy brings a lot to our game , the clueless do not see this hence why they hate

Re: Pablo Fornals - signed
I love him as well!

His best contribution is he chips in with a very respectable number of goals and assists each season. He does have an eye for a good defense splitting pass, which are always a delight to see. He is also one of our calmest players on the ball especially at the back and rarely boots it up the field, preferring to play out of defense. His one twos going up field are always good to see.

He hasn't started greatly this season though. His passing is amiss and too many back passes. He's not the only one. He needs to improve. The goal was a start and that's comes from him looking to score, his shots are not bad, took a save to stop him yesterday and he has hit the woodwork. He really does need to improve though. His passing into the box has been poor, Benrahma has had similar problems. Unfortunately, I think he will drop down the peaking order with Paqueta taking his place. Hopefully that's what he needs, good competition to improve his game. We have a lot of games to play and we will definitely need him.

Eerie your inability to say anything good about Fornals football makes you quite the clown on this thread. Blinded by your blinkered focus to present an totally negative assessment.

Did he edge above Coufal?

Re: Pablo Fornals - signed
According to WhoScored P.Fornals was top for key passes per game for us last season, alongside Antonio.

He was also 6th highest rated player overall.
